Compass is excited to announce the opening of our new Boston office in the Historic North End. Our new location puts us close to all the action, just a short distance from everything Boston has to offer including the financial district, the waterfront, Back Bay and Cambridge. This location enables us to keep our finger on the pulse of the city we love and in turn give our customers the best possible service.
Located on Battery Street just off famous Hanover on the first floor of a brownstone, construction is ongoing with our grand opening scheduled for early April. Looking to blend elements of the “old and the new” we have left all existing brick walls exposed while exploring elements that are in line with our forward looking green philosophy. For our flooring we are using reclaimed hardwood taken from piers that were removed for the construction of the new Battery Wharf. Countertops in the kitchen area will be made from recycled material. Our bathroom will utilize low flow technology in order to cut down on water usage. A high efficiency heating and cooling system is being installed, cutting down our energy usage. We are also enlarging the windows at the front of the space and adding windows in the rear to allow more natural light in.
Boston being the city we are from, we are thrilled at the opportunity to expand our business here. With so much going in Boston, the new Greenway, new development everywhere you look, the explosion of the bio-tech industry, we think it is a great time to become active members of this community.
